Basketball Betting Odds and Preview Capsules: March 5
Atssportsline.com

We have arrived with the early stages of March Madness. Conference tournaments are starting up tonight in the Big South and Horizon. The mid-majors have their chance to dance and there's nothing more exciting. Tonight, there are some very good betting opportunities starting in the NBA and there are several key games in college so get ready to make a profit!

Let's get rolling!

Ohio State Buckeyes (21-7 SU, 14-11-1 ATS) and Indiana Hoosiers (25-4 SU, 15-12 ATS)

Last game: (2/10/13) Indiana (+1) over OHIO STATE, 81-68. The Hoosiers beat the Buckeyes the first time on the road and are looking to sweep the regular season series. The Buckeyes are 11-5 in the Big 10 and looking for a big road win. They have won three straight including a win over Northwestern last Thursday, 63-53 giving 11. Indiana (13-3 Big 10) has won five of six including a 73-60 win over Iowa on Saturday as a 13.5-point betting odds favorite. Favorite is 7-2 ATS last 9 in series. College Basketball Odds: Indiana is an 8-point betting odds favorite. Total: 141.5.

Alabama Crimson Tide (19-10 SU, 11-14 ATS) at Mississippi Rebels (21-8 SU, 13-11 ATS)

Last game: (3/3/12) MISSISSIPPI (+2.5) over Alabama, 60-51. The SEC might have just two tournament teams this year. Alabama (11-5 SEC) is on the outside looking in but a win tonight would help. They lost at Florida on Saturday, 64-52, getting 16. Mississippi (10-6 SEC) lost at Mississippi State on Saturday, giving 11.5. That was a really bad loss and the Rebels need to get back on track before the SEC Tournament. Underdog is 6-2-1 ATS last 9 in series. College Basketball Lines: Mississippi is a 4.5-point betting odds favorite. Total: 134.

Los Angeles Lakers (30-30 SU, 24-35-1 ATS, 30-29-1 O/U) at Oklahoma City (43-16 SU, 35-22-2 ATS, 31-28 O/U

Last game (1/27/13) LOS ANGELES LAKERS (+3) over Oklahoma City, 105-96. The Lakers are just two games out of the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Lakers have won five of their last six including a 99-98 home win over Atlanta on Sunday, giving 5.5. Oklahoma City is coming off a 108-104 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on the road, 108-104 getting 3. The Lakers are 1-5 ATS last 6 playing on 1 days rest. Pro Hoops Odds: Oklahoma City is a 9-point favorite. Total: NT.
