Reason: To make this play on New England you need to look at several factors:
1) Detroit is coming off of a heartbreak loss to Chicago in overtime. After this loss their coach Marty Mornhinweg has taken major heat for some strange coaching decisions during the game. On a very short week Detroit who is not playing for anything but pride is going to try and refocus their energy on New England. We simply do not think that they are going to be able to do that.
2) The Detriot secondary is weak at best. One of their starting D-Backs Cory Harris is questionable. Look for New England to come out firing and try to take advantage of the secondary.
3) New Engalnd comes into this game healthy and looking to make an impression on this nationally televised game. New England has a chance to make some big strides in a tight playoff race.
4) New England is coming off of a relatively easy win against Minnesota where Detroit battled against Chicago in an OT game.
