INFO PLAYS

NBA

10* on Milwaukee +2.5 -110

Shaq logged a lot of minutes against the Bulls last night and won't be able to bounce back with another such performance tonight. Milwaukee will look to run when Shaq's in the game. I expect Bogut to get some easy one's by beating Shaq down the floor. Redd always shoots lights out at home. Milwaukee makes it 7 wins in their last 8 games tonight.

7* on LA Clippers -2 -106

The Clippers have lost two close ones against the best team in each conference, the Spurs and the Pistons. I feel sorry for New Orleans as Sam Cassell and company will be out for blood tonight. Chalk one up for the Clips.

7* on Atlanta +10 -108

Philly is terrible on defense and Atlanta's confidence is running on an all time high after knocking off the Spurs, and Cleveland on their home court, where the Cavs have been unstoppable this season. Atlanta Stays hot tonight and easily keeps it within the number.

6-1 ATS in Last Seven! We are in the middle of a nice little NBA run. Tonight's game has the making of another EASY WIN! With the support of multiple trends and stats this one will DEFINITELY GET THERE!

(703)Chicago (-) over Toronto at 7:05 PM EST

The Bulls have struggled at home in December losing four in a row to Detroit, Dallas, Lakers and the Heat. Their only wins this month have come on the road at Orlando and Washington. Off tonight’s home loss to Miami tonight the Bulls can’t wait to get on the road again. Toronto has the same problem. They have won three of their last five games all on the road. They have a dismal 1-9 mark at home this season. The bottom line here is that the Bulls are the better team. They are playing well on the road and they are going against a Raptor team that can’t win at home. We will take Chicago with the small line for the easy win and cover.

In betting circles, handicappers will tell you small home dogs pack a mean bite. The Hornets look to sink their teeth into the favored Clippers Wednesday as 3-point underdogs.

The Clippers play into revenge Wednesday, after handing New Orleans an 86-75 defeat in the last meeting back on April 20, 2005.

The Clippers know New Orleans will be looking to prove oddsmakers, who made them 3-point home underdogs, made a mistake in this one. New Orleans is 9-12, while the Clippers are 14-7. The total opened at 186.

Last time out, the Clippers lost to the Spurs 95-87 as 9 point underdogs. That contest went under the closing total.

Byron Scott's team hopes to build upon a 91-87 win over Phoenix. They were 13 point underdogs in a game that went under the total.

Some trends to consider: Los Angeles are 1-4-1 OU in its last 6 games against New Orleans Los Angeles are 1-5-0 OU in its last 6 games Los Angeles are 7-3-0 ATS in its last 10 games against New Orleans Los Angeles are 6-2-0 ATS in its last 8 games New Orleans is 3-6-0 ATS in its last 9 games after scoring 90 to 100 points New Orleans is 6-12-0 ATS in its last 18 home games New Orleans is 3-7-0 ATS in its last 10 games against Los Angeles New Orleans is 4-10-0 SU in its last 14 games after scoring 90 to 100 points

Handicapper: Larry Ness

Event: Charlotte Bobcats vs New Jersey Nets on 12/14/2005 at 16:35

Condition: Charlotte Bobcats

Promotion: The Bobcats enter this game on an eight-game losing streak and have won just one game all season away from home in 12 tries. However, they are an impressive 8-4 ATS on the road. While New Jersey just won in Charlotte 97-84 on 12/7, the Nets enter this game off an embarrassing 20-point loss at Washington last night, plus have lost their last three home games in the Meadowlands. Hopefully, Charlotte's Gerald Wallace will be back tonight but even if he's not, there is no reeason to be laying points these days with the Nets. Take the Bobcats.

Handicapper: Ben Burns

Event: Orlando Magic vs New York Knicks on 12/14/2005 at 16:35

Condition: New York Knicks

Promotion: The Magic are 1-4 ATS the last five times that they traveled to New York and 2-9 ATS their last 11 meetings in this series overall. The Magic are expected to have Grant Hill back in the lineup tonight. If he can stay healthy, Hill could eventually prove to be a big help for his team. However, he can't be expected to work wonders in his first game back and, as teams often do when a 'star' returns, the Magic may experience a letdown in his first game back. The Magic, who defeated Denver 94-83 in their last game, are 5-12 ATS the last 17 times they allowed 85 points or less in their previous game and 6-9 ATS the last 15 times that they were coming off a double-digit win. The Knicks, who lost 112-92 to the Bucks in their last game, are 28-18 ATS the past three seasons when coming off a double-digit loss. Look for the home team to earn the win, covering the small number along the way. Play on NEW YORK
