Atssportsline.com

It's hump day which means a heavy does of college basketball! There are also some outstanding NBA games as well including Memphis at San Antonio. But it all starts in college hoops with eight top 25 teams in action and some riveting conference matchups.

Let's get to some great hoops action!

NC State (14-2 SU, 8-6 ATS) at Maryland (13-3 SU, 5-4 ATS)

Last game: (1/8/12). NC STATE (-10.5) over Maryland, 79-74. This is a huge ACC matchup, especially for Maryland, who has lost two straight games. NC State is coming off a 84-76 home win over #1 Duke on Saturday, to remain undefeated in the league at 3-0. Maryland dropped to 1-2 in the ACC after falling at Miami-Fla, on Sunday night, 54-47, getting 6. They scored just 14 points in the first half against the Hurricanes. NC State is 3-12-1 ATS last 16 Wednesday games. College Basketball Odds: Maryland is a 2.5-point favorite. Total: NT.

New Mexico (15-2 SU, 8-7-1 ATS) at Boise State (13-2 SU, 7-4 ATS)

New Mexico has won two straight and three of four. They defeated Fresno State, 72-45, giving 16 last Saturday. They'll have a tough matchup on the road in the Mountain West against a hot Boise State (13-2 SU, 7-4 ATS) team that has won seven straight. It must be something in the air up in Idaho. They defeated Wyoming on the road, 63-61 on Jan. 9, getting 6.5. They played the game without four suspended players. The New Mexico Lobos travel to Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Idaho to face the Broncos at 9pmET. Boise State is 7-2 ATS last 9 overall. Hoops Odds: Boise State is a 2.5-point favorite. Total: NT.

Denver (24-16 SU, 23-17 ATS, 21-19 O/U) at Oklahoma City (30-8 SU, 23-13-2 ATS, 18-20 O/U)

Last game: (4/25/12). Denver (-1.5) over OKLAHOMA CITY, 106-101. This is a big game in the Western Conference as the Nuggets need to take advantage of a team coming off a game the night before. The Thunder have won six straight including a win over Portland, 115-111 in overtime on Tuesday night. Denver has won four straight, including a 102-90 road win over Phoenix, 102-90 giving 5. Kevin Durant is basically unguardable so the Nuggets have to defend the rest of the Thunder players including slowing down point guard Russell Westbrook. Denver is 4-1 ATS last 5 on the road in series. Pro Hoops Odds: Oklahoma City is a 9-point favorite. Total: 203.5.

Memphis (24-12 SU, 21-14-1 ATS, 12-23-1 O/U) at San Antonio (29-11 SU, 23-16-1 ATS, 19-21 O/U)

Last game: (1/11/13). MEMPHIS (-2) over San Antonio, 101-98ot. The Spurs will be tested again without Manu Ginobili, who is out with an injury. They are coming off a 106-88 win over Minnesota on Sunday, giving 12.5. The Spurs have one of the deepest and highest-scoring benches in the league at 42.0 points per game. Memphis is coming off a 99-73 home loss to the LA Clippers, giving 4.5 on Monday. The Grizzlies have dropped five straight and 15 of 16 on the road in the series. Rudy Gay, the team leader with 17.8 points per game. scored a team-best 23 on Friday, should be available after missing Monday's game to be in Baltimore for his grandmother's funeral. Memphis is 6-2-1 ATS last 9 on the road in series. Pro Basketball Odds: San Antonio is a 9-point favorite. Total: 203.5.
