College Basketball Betting Odds: Matchups for February 27
Atssportsline.com

Welcome to hump day, which means another strong day of college basketball. There are several bubble-buster type of games and some very interesting conference matchups, especially in the Big East. It's sad to see some old rivalries will end due to conference re-alignment. That makes it a little tougher on the bettor, but we are going to break the top games down a little easier for Wednesday.

Let's get started!

Georgetown Hoyas (21-4 SU, 14-7 ATS) at Connecticut Huskies (19-7 SU, 12-10 ATS)

Last game (2/1/12) GEORGETOWN (-2.5) over Connecticut, 58-44. Georgetown is one of the best teams in the nation right now, which is why they are in the top 10. They've won nine straight including a 57-46 road win over Syracuse on Saturday, as a 7.5-point betting odds underdog. Otto Porter drained 33 points to lead the Hoyas. Connecticut is playing for now since they are ineligible to make the postseason. They have won two straight and last played on Saturday, when they beat Depaul on the road, 81-69 giving 4.5 points.Georgetown is 19-7 ATS last 26 in Big East. College Basketball Odds: Georgetown is a 2.5-point betting odds favorite. Total: 123.

St. Joseph's Hawks (15-10 SU, 10-12 ATS) at St. Louis Billikens (21-5 SU, 15-9 ATS)

Last game: (2/8/12) St. Louis (-3) over ST. JOSEPH'S, 72-60. The most underrated conference in the nation is the Atlantic 10 and one of the most underrated teams is St. Louis. The St. Joseph's Hawks are a long shot to make the tournament but a win here could change things. The Hawks are coming off a home win over George Washington on Saturday, 71-59, as a 4.5-point betting odds favorite. St. Louis has won nine straight games and should be a lock for the tournament after sweeping Butler for the season. Road team is 6-2 ATS last 8 in series. College Hoops Odds: St. Louis is an 11.5-point betting odds favorite. Total: 125.

San Diego State Aztecs (20-7 SU, 12-9-1 ATS) at New Mexico Lobos (23-4 SU, 14-10-2 ATS)

Last game: (1/26/13) SAN DIEGO STATE (-3.5) over New Mexico, 55-34. The Aztecs rolled over the Lobos in the first game, holding them to 11-of-44 from the field and outrebounding them by 14. San Diego State is one of those bubble teams that could use a sweep. They have won four of their last five, including an 88-75 home win over Nevada on Saturday as a 13.5-point betting odds favorite. New Mexico is looking for some revenge. They have won three straight and six of seven. The Lobos are coming off an impressive 91-82 road win over Colorado State on Saturday getting 6 points. Road team is 14-3 ATS last 17 meetings in series. College Basketball Lines: New Mexico is a 5-point betting odds favorite. Total: 130.
