Atssportsline.com

There's another big day of basketball, which includes the Big East, Mountain West, Mid-American and Southeast Conference. Make sure you are ahead of the game by studying every matchup. If not, there is help out there. After another sweep on Tuesday, the winners keep rolling here at ATS Sportsline.

Have fun watching today's college hoops!

Seton Hall Pirates (15-17 SU, 11-13-1 ATS) vs. Syracuse Orange (23-8 SU, 15-12 ATS)

Big East Tournament -Second Round

Intangibles:

Seton Hall is playing closer to home in New York
Syracuse has one extra day of rest since Seton Hall played yesterday
Syracuse won their only matchup by 11 on the road.

Keys to Success:

Seton Hall has to keep this game low-scoring. They beat South Florida in overtime by scoring only 46 points on Tuesday. Syracuse's 2-3 matchup zone forces teams to hit three-pointers. If Seton Hall's leading-scorer Fuquan Edwin (16.6 points per game) can lift the Pirates, they have a shot to at least cover.

Last game (2/16/13) Syracuse (-8.5) over Seton Hall, 76-65. Seton Hall defeated South Florida on Tuesday, 46-42 in overtime as a 1.5-point dog, to get to the second round of the Big East Tournament. Syracuse has been struggling, as they fell at Georgetown on Saturday, 61-39, getting 2. They have now lost four of their last five games. Syracuse is 11-3 ATS last 14 in series. College Basketball Odds: Seton Hall is a 13-point favorite. Total: 126.

Wyoming Cowboys (19-12 SU, 14-13 ATS) at New Mexico Lobos (26-5 SU, 16-12-2 ATS)

Mountain West Conference Tournament - Quarterfinal

Intangibles:

Wyoming defeated Nevada yesterday to break a five-game losing streak
New Mexico had a bye and is coming off a one-point loss to Air Force
New Mexico has won five straight in this series.

Keys to Success:

Wyoming is going to have to win this game from beyond the arc and inside the arc. They lost both games this year against Wyoming, but covered the last one. They shot 41.3 percent from beyond the arc in both games but only 28.3 percent inside the arc. New Mexico is considered a lock for the NCAA Tournament so Wyoming has a little more to play for.

Last game: (3/2/13) New Mexico (-12) over Wyoming, 53-42. Wyoming is coming off an 85-81 win over Nevada as a 3-point betting odds favorite in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament. New Mexico had won six straight games before falling at Air Force, 89-88 giving 4. New Mexico has won both games in this series this year, but covered one game. New Mexico is 7-2 ATS last 9 neutral site games. College Hoops Lines: New Mexico is a 9-point betting odds favorite. Total: 116.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights (15-15 SU, 14-13 ATS) vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (23-8 SU, 14-14 ATS)

Big East Conference Tournament-second round

Intangibles:

Rutgers has covered four of the last five in this series.
Rutgers is much closer to New York than South Bend is.
Notre Dame likely playing in its last Big East Tournament.

Keys to Success:

Notre Dame has been struggling lately and will need to play their pace. Playing Louisville and Marquette is a little different than facing Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights will need to control the boards and keep senior Jack Cooley from dominating inside. He had 19 points and 10 rebounds against Rutgers in their January meeting.

Last game: (1/19/13) Notre Dame (-11.5) over Rutgers, 69-66. Rutgers is coming off two straight wins including a 76-57 thrashing of Depaul in the opening round of the Big East Tournament. Notre Dame has lost two of the last three, including a 73-57 loss at Louisville on March 9. That game was revenge for Louisville after losing in five overtimes (104-101) in South Bend on February 9. Rutgers is 13-3 ATS last 16 in series. College Hoops Odds: Notre Dame is a 7.5-point favorite. Total: 124.5.
