+6638 Year to date.............

I will be in Vegas this weekend with friends. Looking forward to watching the games and spending some quality time on the craps table. I have been waiting for this weekend all year, and I plan to win some $. Here are my plays for the big weekend………..

College Football Saturday October 4th: (14-8 ATS +750 YTD) (1-6 $line –139 YTD)

1* Maryland -7 -110
1* Wisconsin E -110
2* Auburn E -110
2* Michigan -3 -105
1* Texas -5.5 -110

NFL Plays for Sunday October 5th: (6-1-1 ATS +545 YTD) (1-0 $line +145 YTD)

1* New England +2 -110
1* Atlanta Falcons +5.5 -110
1/2* Arizona Cards +7.5 -110
1* Wash Redskins +6 -110
1* San Fran 49ers -6.5 -110

Monday Night Football October 6th:

2* Tampa Bay Bucs -4 -110

1* 3 team parlay (Auburn/Michigan/TBBucs) +600

I make most of my plays on Fridays, taking advantage of –105 juice and free half points (Betcom) at various offshore shops.

Analysis:

Maryland /Clemson:
Terps finding their groove as is typical of this team (from week 3 on) under Friedgen. Home team has covered all 4 games involving Terps by an average of 13 points. Favorite is also 6-1 in last 7 Clemson games. Maryland outrushed Tigs 285-81 last year in 38-6 romp in Clemson. Terps roll on…….

Maryland 37-21

Wisconsin/Penn St:
Penn St has a severe lack of talent. Wiscy’s only struggles have come at home, not on the road. Wisconsin will not have turnovers Saturday, and will dominate time of possession. Home crowd will work against this Penn St. team, as the backers are sensing the end of Joe Patterno’s long run. All Badgers here…….

Wisconsin 30-17

______________________________________________

Auburn/Tennessee:
Vols are now ranked higher than this Auburn team that many thought could win the National Championship. UT escaped at home (23-20) after being dominated by South Carolina in a lackluster effort last Saturday night. Hostile crowd leads Auburn to a huge SEC win. WAR EAGLE!……….

Auburn 27-16

________________________________________________

Michigan/Iowa:
Wow. 2 weeks ago everyone was telling me that Michigan was going to win the National Championship. I promptly released a solid play on Oregon +7, and the Ducks won outright. Now Michigan’s stock has fallen in the eyes of the public. Line opened at Michigan –4, and has dropped to –3. I’ll take a shot with a superior Michigan team seeking major revenge after last year’s embarrassing home loss. “Hail to the Victors……..”

Michigan 30-14

Texas/Kansas St:
Normally I fade Mack Brown teams in “Big Games”. To me this is a mismatch, as I see K St having no chance to win in Austin. Texas has superior size, talent, and desire. K St is lacking confidence after shocking home loss to Marshall, and never does well as a single digit road dog. Hook ‘em Horns……….

Texas 34-21

_________________________________________________

Titans/Patriots:
The dog is always worth a look in NE games (45-24-4 last 73 games). Simply can’t back Titans as a road favorite, coming off a big SU win as a dog @ Piittsburgh. I’ll take a shot with the solid Home Dog……..

Pats 23-16

__________________________________________________

Vikings/Falcons:
I fully expect the public to back the Vikings in this game. Minnesota has covered all 4 games this year, while the Falcons have dropped 3 straight ATS. Minny covered by 29 last week, Falcons failed to cover by 14 points. Vikings won as a slight home dog last week(+1), now take to the road as the favorite. This is the NFL, and this is a stinker game! Falcons rise up on Sunday……

Falcons 23-20

___________________________________________________

Cowboys/Cardinals:
I always look at the dog in Parcell’s games. Dog is 3-0 in Dallas games winning all 3 SU. Dallas has won back-to- back road games in the Meadowlands (as a dog) and now return home as more than a TD chalk. I’ll take a shot with the “worst team in the NFL” here. Cards keep it close in Emmitt’s return to Big D…….

Cowboys 20-17

___________________________________________________

Eagles/Redskins:
Eagles were superb in “desperate” situation @ Buffalo. I still believe the Eagles are at a disadvantage playing at Home. Road team is 3-0 SU and ATS in Philly games. The Eagles “home crowd” can work against this team if they get off to a shaky start. Philly has lost a ton of talent from last year’s squad, and the Redskins have improved significantly in several key areas. Skins QB Ramsey and that Skins “D” continue to impress……..

Skins 23-21.

____________________________________________________

49ers/Lions:
Niners are reeling after embarrassing outburst by WR Owens. Detroit D is terrible, and SF will get healthy in this setup. The 49ers will do to the Lions what they did to the Bears in week 1 in SF. Niners roll…….

49ers 40-14

____________________________________________________

Bucs/Colts:
Colts have been impressive in establishing a 4-0 record SU and ATS. This is a “buzzsaw” situation for Peyton Manning and crew. Bucs are rested (bye week) coming off rout in Atlanta. TB lost last home game, and will be ready for this one in primetime. Bucs are superb as a small fav at home (-5 or less). All Bucs here in Tony Dungee’s return to Tampa……..

Bucs 27-13
