I got shafted on a Lakers/Kings middle. I got over 189.5 (Canbet) and UNDER 197.5 (Olympic) and missed it when the total landed on 204
Ouch. Middling on the total is a dangerous proposistion. That was a hefty amount of points though. Sucks
MC
over 189.5 (Canbet)????!
When was that line available? Thats quite the middle.
I've been intrigued by trying to middle the Ga/Fla St bowl game. I've already bet Ga at -4 and they are now at -7' or -8. At what point would this line become a good middle bet if at all? A lot of people seem to think that Ga will roll in this game and that i already have a value with them at -4. Any thoughts ?
I've personally never found value in middling the spread. Moneyline yes, regularly but the spread is just too difficult. I kow that other people I know that try to hit middles regularly will wait until the swing is 5 points or better. But middling the spread is like super handicapping a game. It's kind of like picking the exact score. If a middle presents itself and you think you can determine the margin of victory close enough have at it. I though do not have such abilities....

I understand MC's point, but you only have to hit 1 out of 20 to break even. The middle you present is a very nice one since it hits the 4, 6 and 7 point spreads. These are good numbers.
I think Florida State may just hang in there with Georgia.
But who wants to bet 20 times to break even? You could be using that money to bet straight, scalp, or just buy beers with
