It's a F*CKING mess! The whole southern half of the state is going up in flames. I believe we now have over 10 fires going at the same time and some have even merged. Los Angeles local mountains/resorts are burning with no end in site. Main highways (15 & 215) that run from S.D. through Riverside up to Vegas are closed. HWY 1 (P.C.H) is now closed in sections. Ash is everywhere. I am two miles from the beach and my house and cars are covered. There is so much crap in the air that it looks like the sun is setting at 2pm. We have closed all our windows and turned on the ceiling fans to keep cool, since it is still 90 degrees outside. Closest fire to me is 25 miles away and it smells like an ashtray outside my house.

I have family who went to SD for the weekend to see Miami/SD game. Haven't hear from them to see what they are going to do, but they bought tix on the 45 yd line in row 4 off ebay. Paid $400 for two tix that they won't see that $ back.

Oh well, there is always something going on in L.A.

It is an absolute mess. I played a round of golf in this crap yesterday. One of the ladies I work with lost her house in Scripp Ranch. Very Sad
The sun is red all day long and it is snowing ash. If you go to MSNBC and look at the story, they have a satalite picture. Kind of explains the size of this thing. If some idiot set these fires off they should be shot.
I will update if more happens. Right now it is in God's hands.

Not me. I'm in the South Bay (15 mi south of downtown L.A.) near the beach. I only get the "snow ash".

That is unless some ass decides to start a fire on my street. I think half these fires are arson related.

That's good news Big T.

So no danger, or just no danger right now? I am checking out Fox News right now and that sh*t is out of control.

Right now I am fine. I do live in a town that is surronded by hills. As long as those assholes don't strike a match in my backyard I should be fine.

Man, this sh*t's like a flood. Everytime I check the news it gets worse and worse. I can't believe that you can see it from space.
