LEANING TO LOUISVILLE BUT LEFTWICH AND CREW ALWAYS SEEM TO PULL IT OUT!!!! WHAT DO YA'LL THINK!!
Thinking that Marshall will have the stones to pull it out. I will know for sure closer to game time....
MC
I'm still thinking Marshall in this one. I like Byron to show out after getting passed for the Heisman.
MC
yeah leftwich didn't even get an invite to the heisman show....ought to be a shootout tonight....may just take the over!!!!
I think T-Bone posted that Louisville has 2 WR's out for the game, but I don't think that will make much of a difference to be honest. Especially with Byron's style of play. He's real mobile and he loves to air it out as well. Not playing either but if I had to muster a pick it would be for the over as well....
MC
Hope this helps. Look at this injury report, from what they say, he will be hobbled tonight
LOUISVILLE-++
(12/18 01:20pm) RB Henry Miller (ankle) is expected to play.
(12/18 01:20pm) LB Rod Day (knee) is expected to play.
(12/18 01:20pm) OG Jason Spitz (knee) is expected to play.
(12/18 01:20pm) OG Wil Rabatin (various injuries) is expected to play.
(12/18 04:38am) The Courier Journal reports -
The Cards apparently won't have a complete roster tomorrow. Smith said at
least one player will serve a suspension, though he refused to give
specifics.
"I don't want to say anything about the guys we don't have with us because
I don't want to embarrass anybody," he said. "You'll know come game time.
We'll be ready to go."
(12/13 06:00pm) WR Damien Dorsey was dismissed from the team.
(12/09 09:54am) QB Dave Ragone (ankle) is probable. The Louisville
Courier-Journal reports HC Smith said that Ragone's
ankle injury, which he suffered at Houston, was not serious.+
MARSHALL-++
(12/18 04:38am) QB Byron Leftwich (leg) is probable but not 100% healthy.
The Charleston Gazette reports -
Leftwich still is limping, probably too much to take a snap under center.
The Marshall offense has been built the last three games around the
shotgun snap, with backup Stan Hill going in to handle short-yardage
situations.
(12/18 04:38am) WR Darius Watts (hand) returned to practice, probable.+
The Daily Mail reports -
Marshall star wide receiver Darius Watts practiced Monday. Well, sort
of.
He ran routes, but anytime a pass was thrown his way Watts simply
batted the ball down with his left hand. That's because the five
stitches used to close a cut at the base of his right pinky finger 10 days
ago are still in Watts' hand.
Because the cut has been so slow to heal, the stitches won't be removed
until Wednesday.
thanks for all the info tbone!!!
One of the two receivers out for Louisville is their TOP receiver in catches/yards (Dorsey).
sometimes ya gotta say fuggit...i'm sticking with a SMALL play on louisville moneyline and the over also!!!! good luck to all of ya tonight!!!!!
