Reason: Our projected pointspread for this game had NY as a 7.5 point favorite. Our number are calling for NY to win this thing something like 66-59. However, the real reason for this play lies in the subjectives surrounding this game. NY has been THE hottest team in the league over the last month. They have forged their way into first place, where they will most likely end up. Minnesota has 9 wins all season, and will end up near the bottom of the Western conference. That being said, Minnesota has won 2 in a row, including a 13 point drubbing of Seattle on Sunday, who came into that game on a 5 game winning streak. Who do you think will be more up for this game? NY who just beat rival Charlotte, and faces Washington on Thursday and then again on Friday? Or Minnesota, who is playing for a coach whose job is being evaluated every game, and feels disrespcted by the league? Point being I think NY wins the game, but not by 12 points. Good Luck.
