MLB has to be ecstatic about the Giants reaching the series. There was no lure to an Anaheim / St. Louis series. Having Bonds make it will double their ratings and interest. This is a tough series to call, St. Loius got too caught up in over-managing when Bonds came to the plate that they let 37 year old santiado beat them. I know Larussa is a good manager but he let his ego get to him. Anaheim is so scarry because in these playoffs they've won the pitching duels and the blowouts. When their 9 hole hitter hits 3 homers in a deciding game, you know you belong. This team has nothing to do with destiny. This should be a great series

LaRussa is the most overrated manager in the history of the game. He has won one title and that's it. With the powerhouse Oakland teams, he lost to Cincinnati and LA, two huge underdogs. Now, against the Giants, he single-handidly lost at least two games. Whoever said this moron is a genious, should flat out be shot!
