Boston Red Sox +115

This is a rare baseball play for me.Although Pedro was hit early his last time out, he settled in and was thowing at 95+ mph, the hardest I've seen him throw all year. Tim McCarver pointed out the sometimes it takes longer for starters to warm up in the bullpen in a relief role. Tonight Pedro will be well rested, temperature in St Louis between 65-70 degrees, and he will get plenty of pre game warm up time. If Pedro's fast ball is in the 95 mph range tonight the Cards will not beat him. He has a lot of pride and is not used to being the #2 guy standing in Curt Schilling or anyone elses shadow. This could also be his last start in a Red Sox uniform I expect a huge effort tonight from one of the best pitchers of his generation.

This game played out just about like I thought with a big effort from Pedro. Fortunately, some uncharacteristic shoddy play by the Cards helped us out along the way
