Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Buffalo Sabres

- The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Buffalo Sabres will both be trying to pick up a win on Wednesday when they battle at HSBC Arena.

Johan Holmqvist gave up three goals on 35 shots in Tampa Bay's 3-2 loss to the Washington Capitals on Saturday night.

The Capitals pulled out the win as +145 road underdogs in that contest, while the combined score fell UNDER the night's posted total (6).

The Sabres lost to Pittsburgh 4-1 as a-155 favorite last time out. The five goals scored fell UNDER the posted over/under total (5.5).

New York Islanders vs. Washington Capitals

- The New York Islanders and the Washington Capitals will both be gunning for a victory on Wednesday when they meet at Verizon Center.

The Islanders scored three times in the third period to come back and defeat the road warrior Sharks 3-2 last time out, as +120 underdogs. The five goals fell were a PUSH against the posted over/under (5).

Mike Comrie, Andy Hilbert and Freddy Meyer scored for the Islanders. Rick DiPietro made 28 saves in the win.

Alexander Semin scored in the third period on Saturday night to give the Capitals a 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

San Jose Sharks vs. New Jersey Devils

- The fans at Prudential Center will be treated to a game between the San Jose Sharks and the New Jersey Devils when they take their seats on Wednesday.

The Sharks lost for just the seventh time on the road Monday, as they fell 3-2 to the Islanders. The Sharks were listed as -140 favorites, while the five goals fell were a PUSH against the posted over/under (5).

Marcel Goc and Joe Thornton scored for the Sharks.

The Devils grabbed a spot atop the Eastern Conference with a 5-1 win over the Hurricanes on Monday, as -190 favorites at home. The six goals made it OVER the posted over/under (5.5).

- The Calgary Flames and the Dallas Stars will both be trying to pick up a win on Wednesday when they battle at American Airlines Center.

Jarome Iginla had two goals and an assist Tuesday, as the Flames disposed of the Coyotes 4-1. The Flames won the game at -110 odds, while the five goals were UNDER the posted over/under (5.5).
