Boston Bruins vs. Washington Capitals

- The Boston Bruins and the Washington Capitals will both be trying to pick up a win on Monday when they battle at Verizon Center.

Phil Kessel potted the winner in the shootout to lift the Bruins to a 3-2 win over the Atlanta Thrashers on Saturday.

Daniel Alfredsson scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Senators over the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4 on Saturday.

- The fans at HP Pavilion will be treated to a game between the Montreal Canadiens and the San Jose Sharks when they take their seats on Monday.

Andrei Kostitsyn had the game-winning goal on Saturday night as the Canadiens edged the New Jersey Devils by a score of 2-1.

R. Dipietro (NYI) - missed Sunday’s game for personal reasons
E. Ersberg (LA) - will backup Cloutier for the near future
M. Fernandez (BOS) - knee surgery, likely done for entire season
