- Mike Cammalleri, Kings, scored a goal and added two assists in Los Angeles' 5-2 victory over San Jose.
- Richard Zednik, Panthers, scored twice in a three-goal second period to give Florida a 4-2 win over Buffalo.
- David Legwand, Predators, had a goal and an assist to help Nashville beat Edmonton 4-1.

KINGS OF THE ROAD
Los Angeles took over first place in the Pacific Division with a 5-2 victory at San Jose Friday night. It was the Kings' second straight road win and their fifth victory in six games. Goalie Jean-Sebastien Aubin made 45 saves and Dustin Brown scored two goals for Los Angeles in the front end of a home-and-home series.
SHUTOUT
Mikael Tellqvist stopped 35 shots for his fifth career shutout as Phoenix blanked Dallas 5-0 on Friday night. Tellqvist, who was sick with the flu, was also credited with an assist on a second-period Coyotes goal in what turned out to be a very healthy performance.
SCORING
Washington's Alex Ovechkin scored for the eighth consecutive game against Philadelphia Friday night, but the Capitals star came up short in losing to the Flyers 3-2. Ovechkin has the longest active scoring streak by any player against one team.
SIGNED
Senators center Jason Spezza agreed to a $49 million, seven-year contract extension Friday that allowed Ottawa to lock up the final member of its potent first line. Spezza, who has a goal and 12 assists in 10 games this season, would have been a restricted free agent after this season but now will be with the team through 2014-15. He joins Daniel Alfredsson, who is signed through 2011-12, and Dany Heatley, who agreed to a six-year extension through 2013-14 last month.

There 46 minutes in penalties and no fewer than four outright fights in the game. Richards, who received 12 stitches in and around his nose from a fight, came back to score a goal.

Manny Legace has won his last four starts against Columbus to improve to is 13-4-0 with a tie and a 2.49 GAA in his career against them.
Nashville at Chicago
Goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin has lost his last four starts against the Predators, meaning Patrick Lalime may get the start. Lalime is 4-5-1 with a 2.21 GAA in his career against Nashville.
Ottawa at Boston
The Senators have won five of their last six over the Bruins, including the last two meetings in Boston.
Flyers F Gagne cleared for full activity

PHILADELPHIA -- Simon Gagne was cleared for full activity Saturday, 10 days after the Philadelphia Flyers forward was knocked out of a game and sidelined with vision problems and dizziness.
Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said Gagne passed his baseline tests and was expected to practice with the team on Sunday. If all goes well, he is expected to play Monday against the New York Rangers.
Gagne hasn't played since he was knocked out of a game against Florida on Oct. 24, when his jaw crashed into the shoulder of Florida defenseman Jay Bouwmeester on a high check. Gagne tried to play a few shifts, but left the game after he experienced dizziness.
He skated alone for about 30 minutes on Tuesday and said he felt better, but not quite ready to play.
