Red Wings won six of last eight games with Ottawa, but lost two of last three visits here- home side won five of last six series games. Under is 4-2 in last six series games. Detroit won its season opener 4-2 at home. Senators lost its opener 5-4 in a shootout at home to Washington.

Florida won six of last nine games with Tampa Bay; home team won seven of last eight series games. These teams opened season against each other Friday; Lightning won 5-3 in Tampa, scoring three third period goals. Lightning were outscored 11-4 in losing their last four visits here. Last three series games stayed under the total.

Colorado won seven of last eight games with New Jersey; under is 7-0-2 in last nine series games. Avalanche won three of last four visits to the Garden State. Colorado won its opener 4-2 against the Rangers. This is New Jersey’s season opener.

Rematch of Stanley Cup finals, when Penguins won in 6 games; Predators were outscored 24-8 in losing their last five visits to Steel City. Over is 6-3 in last nine series games. Nashville lost its opener 4-3 in Boston. Penguins lost 10-1 in Chicago Thursday, after losing their opener 5-4 in OT at home to the Blues.

Road team won eight of last ten Montreal-Washington games; Canadiens won three of last four visits here. Under is 5-2-3 in last ten series games. Montreal won its opener 3-2 at Buffalo in a shootout Thursday. Caps won their opener in a shootout, 5-4 in Ottawa Thursday.

Islanders are 5-3 in their last eight games with Buffalo; teams split last four meetings here (over 3-1). Islanders opened their season with a 5-0 loss in Columbus last nite. Sabres lost their opener 3-2 in a shootout at Montreal at home Thursday.

Minnesota won seven of last eight games with Carolina; they won three of last four visits to Raleigh- under is 2-0-1 in last three. Wild lost their opener 4-2 in Detroit. This is the Hurricanes’ season opener.

Blues won their last three games with Dallas Stars; two of those were OT games. Stars split last four visits to St Louis, but lost last two, both by 4-3 scores. Dallas opened its season at home by losing to the expansion Knights 2-1 last night. Blues won their opener in OT at Pittsburgh Wednesday.

Blue Jackets won four of last six games with Chicago; home side won last four series games (under 3-1). Columbus lost four of last five visits to Windy City- they opened their season with a 5-0 home win against the Islanders last nite. Chicago beat Pittsburgh 10-1 in their opener Thursday.

Las Vegas played its first-ever game last night, a 2-1 win in Dallas- they scored twice in third period, were outshot 46-30. Arizona blew a 4-1 lead and lost 5-4 in its opener in Anaheim Thursday.

Home team won seven of last eight Winnipeg-Calgary games; Flames won four of last five. Jets were outscored 19-6 in losing last four visits here. Under is 5-1 in last six series games. Winnpeg lost its opener 7-2 at home to Toronto. Calgary lost its opener 3-0 in Edmonton Wednesday.

Ducks won their last eight games with Philadelphia; three of those games went to shootouts. Flyers lost last four visits to Anaheim, with two SO losses. Philly split its first two series games out west, winning in San Jose, getting blanked in LA- this is their 3rd game in four nights. Anaheim rallied from down 4-1 to win its opener 5-4 over Arizona.

Edmonton won six of last eight games with Vancouver; under is 3-1-1 in last five series games. Oilers won 2-0/3-2 in last two visits here. Edmonton blanked Calgary 3-0 at home in its opener. This is the Canucks’ season opener.

San Jose won seven of last ten games with the Kings; they won five of last six visits to Staples Center. Under is 3-0-2 in last five series games. Kings beat Philly 2-0 at home in their season opener. Sharks lost to the Flyers 5-3 at home in their season opener Wednesday.
