Minnesota at Nashville (8 p.m. EST). Peter Forsberg makes his debut for the Predators against the Wild.

Oddsmakers list the Predators as -185 home favorites. The total is set at 5 1/2 goals.

STARS Friday

-Fredrik Norrena, Blue Jackets, stopped 29 shots to lead Columbus to a 3-0 victory over San Jose.

-Bill Guerin, Blues, scored the only goal in St. Louis' 1-0 win over Nashville.

-Roberto Luongo, Canucks, made 34 saves in regulation and two in the shootout to help Vancouver edge Chicago 2-1.

STREAKING

Pittsburgh pulled within five points of Atlantic Division-leading New Jersey with a 5-4 win over the Devils on Friday night. The Penguins have won five in a row, and have picked up at least one point in 15 straight games, winning 13 of them.

SNAPPED

Sidney Crosby ended his eight-game goal-scoring drought with a power-play tally in Pittburgh's 5-4 win over New Jersey on Friday night. ... St. Louis ended a 14-game losing streak against Nashville with a 1-0 victory. The Blues lost all eight meetings last year and the first six this season, all but the final loss coming by one goal.

TOOTHLESS

San Jose was shut out for the second game in a row, extending its scoreless streak to 148 minutes, 30 seconds after Friday night's 3-0 loss to Columbus. The Sharks were coming off a 5-0 loss to Nashville on Wednesday night.

SCORING SPREE

Bill Guerin had St. Louis' only goal in a 1-0 win over Nashville on Friday night. Guerin has scored in three straight games, including a hat trick against San Jose on Tuesday. He has eight points in the past five games on six goals and two assists.

HOME WOES

Chicago lost for the eighth time in nine home games after Friday night's 2-1 shootout defeat to Vancouver.

SPEAKING

''Nobody was more surprised than me. It's usually not my style.'' - Bill Guerin, who scored his team-leading 27th goal in St. Louis' 1-0 win over Nashville on Friday night. Guerin collected a pass from Doug Weight and danced around a defender before flicking the puck past goalie Chris Mason.

Devils trade F Korolyuk to Sharks

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New Jersey Devils traded left wing Alexander Korolyuk back to the San Jose Sharks on Friday for a third-round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Korolyuk has been playing this season for a team in Russia, Vityaz Chekhov, where he has 14 goals, 24 assists and 56 penalty minutes in 39 games.

The Devils had acquired Korolyuk on Oct. 1 from the Sharks.

The goalies below have been confirmed by a source:

Henrik Lundqvist, New York Rangers - Lundqvist is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Flyers, reports the New York Newsday.

David Aebischer, Montreal Canadiens - Aebischer is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Hurricanes, reports the Montreal Gazette. There really is no update on Cristobal Huet, but it appears as if he will miss a decent amount of time as we suspected since the Canadiens have recalled Jaroslav Halak, who could get the start today or tomorrow.

Martin Gerber, Ottawa Senators - Gerber is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Flyers, reports the official Senators website. He got a shutout his last game but it's still impossible for him to win the #1 job at the moment - even with Ray Emery's suspension.

Dominik Hasek, Detroit Red Wings - Hasek is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Coyotes, reports the Detroit News.

Niklas Backstrom, Minnesota Wild - Backstrom is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Predators, reports the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Tomas Vokoun, Nashville Predators - Vokoun is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Wild, reports the Nashville Tennessean.

Peter Budaj, Colorado Avalanche - Budaj is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Flames, reports the Rocky Mountain News.

The goalies below have not been confirmed by any sources:

Tim Thomas, Boston Bruins - Thomas is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Sabres.

Antero Niittymaki, Philadelphia Flyers - Niittymaki is the probable starter for Saturday's game against the Rangers.
