STARS

Sunday

— Roberto Luongo and Daniel Sedin, Canucks. Luongo made 26 saves to match his career high with seven shutouts, and Sedin had two goals and an assist in Vancouver’s 4-0 victory in Chicago.

— Brian Elliott, Senators, made 20 saves for his first NHL shutout in Ottawa’s 3-0 victory in Tampa Bay.

— Patrik Berglund and Chris Mason, Blues. Berglund had a goal and two assists, and Mason made 26 saves in St. Louis’ 5-2 victory in Columbus.

— Tim Thomas and Milan Lucic, Bruins. Thomas made 45 saves for his career-high 32nd win, and Lucic scored two goals in Boston’s 4-3 win in Philadelphia.

— Ryan Suter and Pekka Rinne, Predators. Suter broke a tie on a power play with 4:36 left, and Rinne made 33 saves in Nashville’s 4-3 win in Detroit.

— Marian Gaborik, Wild, had a goal and an assist in Minnesota’s 3-2 victory in Edmonton.

— Bobby Ryan, Ducks, scored twice in Anaheim’s 4-1 home win over Colorado.

SCOUTING

Jason Lawrence scored a power-play goal with 14.4 seconds left, and Boston University advanced to the Frozen Four for the first time in 12 years, beating New Hampshire 2-1 on Sunday. The Terriers, the only one of the four top-seeded teams remaining, will face Hockey East rival Vermont in the national semifinals Thursday, April 9, at The Verizon Center in Washington. Bemidji State, a 4-1 winner over Cornell on Sunday, will face Miami of Ohio in the other semifinal.

New Jersey Devils vs. New York Rangers

Martin Brodeur stopped 46 shots and Patrik Elias scored the lone goal in the Devils 2-1 loss to the Hurricanes last time out. The Devils were favored by oddsmakers at -150, and the game's three goals went UNDER the posted over/under (5.5).
