Anaheim’s Teemu Selanne scored his 573rd goal in the Ducks’ 4-3 overtime victory over Vancouver on Wednesday night to tie former Islanders star Mike Bossy for 18th place on the career list. Selanne has 21 goals this season.

ARRESTED

Former Edmonton owner Peter Pocklington was arrested at his Palm Desert, Calif., home Wednesday on charges that he concealed assets during bankruptcy proceedings. The 67-year-old Pocklington was later arraigned and pleaded not guilty in federal court in Riverside. If convicted, the 67-year-old Pocklington could face up to 10 years in federal prison. Pocklington sold the Oilers in 1998.

Justin Leclerc made 58 saves in the Kamloops Blazers’ 3-1 victory over visiting Vancouver on Wednesday night in Western Hockey League. Evander Kane scored Vancouver’s lone goal with 5:23 left in the third period. … Vancouver first-round pick Cody Hodgson had two goals and two assists in the Brampton Battalion’s 7-2 victory at Oshawa in the Ontario Hockey League.
