Well folks, I can't miss this one. The odds are showing a great value for us, and it's simple to explain why to take this chance.
Flyers were among the teams with the best game. However, somehow, they lost it. They replaced the coach, but the results still hard to get. But this team are going through a rehab, and we should not forget they were a top3 offensive team. This is something of great value because their offensive were provided by every player, and not only centers.
Pittsburgh are the actual champions. Impossible to forget it. However, they are not acting like that so far. A team with Ovechkin have to be a contender to Stanley Cup. Washington is not only Ovechkin, and after failed last year, we can expect great things for this team. So far, they have struggled in few games where they had several key players with injuries. Since that, they are showing some improvements, and just fail some games once in a while. However, they are now 0-2 in last 2 road games. To keep that improvement, they got to deny a defeat today and keep this current streak as short as 2 games. They are a good road team, with 10-5 record, and are scoring 3.8 goals in last 5 games, make them a team to fear.
Colorado is no longer that Cinderella team from the start of the season. Despite the positive (and good) record of 19-10, this team are achieving more losses than wins in last games. With 9-3 record at home, it's important to quote that in last 5 home games, they hosted 3 of the worst road team, and lost 3 games in that period. They are trying to make some efforts on defense, and in last 5, they only allowed 1.20 goals per game. However, their offense are not producing enough to help their defense.
In this match up, Colorado defense will probably allow more than the goals they tried to avoid in last games. They will face a great offensive team, and the quality of the roster have different values. Colorado is passing a letdown moment, struggling on offense, and it will be hard to hold Washington.

Atlanta is a great road team. They are solid and cohesive, never give up, and have players to decide games. That's enough for us. This will be their last road game for the next games, and will probably like to end it well.
Florida is a non reliable team, due to some lack of talent, as they are one of the poorest teams on NHL. In last game, they went to New York to give a blow out loss to Islanders. That result was surprising and there were more demerit for Islanders than merit for Panthers. The truth is that this team has passed a good moment, but lost that moment. Since then, they are achieving regular losses and once a while a win, when they catch some team in that mood. Their home record is negative, and had already lost to Thrashers at home 10 days ago.

This will be a nice matchup. I will take Boston that are with great value, and it's not so hard as it seems, even going against the strong Blackhawks.
Boston is a team with a good roster, very balanced, that were disappointing in the first 2 months. One of the reasons why people believed in them is because they have maintained almost all their players from the last season. And if you remember, Bruins were the best regular season team by far last year.
About Blackhawks is not much to say. They are playing very well, and they earn their record of 21-8. They are allowing only 0.80 goals per game in last five games, and that shows a great improvement on their defense, but their last 4 games were to easy. Their strong is on their offensive line, where they have great players.

They are also one of the best home teams, with a impressive record of 14-3. However, it's not so simple. Bruins are growing and improving a lot since last month. Florida has been quite good, surprising everyone positively. They had a great run some games ago, but since that run, they only win to teams that show some apathy in the approach to the game. Last two games, they had many chances to win, but they had no luck.

This will be an interesting matchup. Rangers are really improving their game? Hurricanes are finally standing up at home to try their best?
Rangers have won their last 2 games. Those 2 games were the first 2 on a 3 games road trip, that will end today at Carolina. For a team with 1-8 record in the previous games, it´s a team with a weak confidence, particularly when they know how suffered was last win. Gaborik was the key for the first win, an easy win. But Lundqvist, their goaltender, were the real key for both games. But the fact is that this team could be improving, but a roadtrip is not the place to prove it, as they were playing really bad, and their biggest problem is that their players were without confidence and weren´t playing as a team.
Carolina had a 14 games losing streak. It was hard to the team deal with some injuries and with that streak. However, this team is a team that is very cohesive and hard to beat at home. Since that streak, Hurricanes are 6-2 at home and playing well. Even when they lost, they made it hard to the opponents, selling with an expensive cost their defeat.
Today he will have a 50-50 game. Rangers got a better squad, but Hurricanes are playing a better game and will play at home where they are strong. Both teams will play their last game before Christmas. This matchup will be the last game for both teams before Christmas pause. Panthers will play the last game in this 3 game roadtrip. Probably their thinkings will be more concentrated to end the game to go home than to win the game. Rangers will play at home after 3 road games.
Florida have been a team quite good. They just can be unpredictable, because their will to win is always the same and they give their best all the time. When they face easy teams or teams that make the wrong approach to the game, they win. If they are improving their offense game after game, their defense is going in the reverse way.
Rangers is the kind of team that we have to treat as kids. If they are without the mood, they just clap their feats and doesn't even try to win the game. And they had it for many games, and after so long, the rehab seems more difficult. However, in their last roadtrip, they won all the 3 games in regular time! For a team with the talent that Rangers got, with good players and one of the best players in NHL, this can be the trigger to return to good and consistence performances.
I believe that Rangers will make their best to end well before Christmas. They already returned home, and will play at home. Florida will have to still one more day, after 2 road games, far from home. They are better than Rangers in only one thinking, the way they approach the games. However, today, Rangers will probably make their best, and having a better roster, will be difficult to Panthers.
