The FedEx Cup playoffs continue this week with the 2009 Deutsche Bank Championship on Friday, Sept. 4 from the TPC of Boston in Norton, Mass.

Woods enters the tournament as a 23/20 favorite to win according to the
online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Other short odds to win are Steve Stricker (9/1), Padraig Harrington (14/1), Phil Mickelson (20/1), and Ernie Els (20/1).

Woods won this event in 2006 and is the current FedEx Cup standings leader by over 1,000 points over Stricker. Woods has finished in the top 10 in his last 12 events aside from the British Open. Woods has won five events in 2009 and finished runner-up in his last two tournaments.

Stricker finished tied for second with Woods at the Barclays to keep his hold on second place in the FedEx Cup standings. Stricker has two win in 2009 and has finished in the top 10 on nice occasions. Stricker finished 13th in the 2008 Deutsche Bank Championship.

Harrington sits 14th in the FedEx Cup standings after finishing second with Woods and Stricker at the Barclays. Harrington has finished in the top 10 four times in 2009 and has finished in the top 10 in his last three events.

Mickelson has finished outside the top 50 in all three events he has played in since returning to the tour after spending time with his wife, who is battling breast cancer. Mickelson finished 73rd in the 2008 Deutsche Bank Championship, but won the event in 2007.

Els is coming of finishing second with Woods, Stricker, and Harrington at the Barclays and he has finished in the top 10 in three of his last four events. Els has seven top-10 finishes in 2009.
