Viking Classic Odds To Win – Campbell Favored
The PGA Tour has two events remaining in the 2009 year including this week’s event, the 2009 Viking Classic from Annandale in Madison, Miss.
A competitive field of up-and-coming starts is highlighted by Chad Campbell, who is the pre-event favorite to win.

Campbell enters the tournament as a 14/1 favorite to win according to the online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Other short odds to win are David Toms (16/1), Matt Kuchar (20/1), and Troy Matteson (20/1).
Campbell is ranked 46th in the world and is the 2007 winner of this event. Campbell is coming off a second-place finish two weeks ago in the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open where he was tied for the lead through 72 holes, but lost in a playoff. This year, Campbell has five top-15 finishes.
Toms is ranked 32nd in the world and he finished eighth in the 2008 Viking Classic. Toms has finished in the top 15 in eight events this year.
Kuchar has been playing well as of late, winning the Turning Stone Resort Championship a few weeks ago, and finishing seventh at the Justin Timberlake event. On the year, Kuchar has nine top 15 finishes.
Matteson is coming off his second career win last Sunday in the 2009 Frys.com Open, where he won the title in a playoff. Matteson has made the cut in his last eight events. Matteson has just two top 15 finishes this year.
