Woods is a 9/2 favorite to win according to oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Phil Mickelson (10/1), Justin Rose (15/1), Ernie Els (15/1), and Lee Westwood (15/1). Woods has won three British Open titles in his career, two of which have come at St. Andrews. Woods has 14 major championships and has finished in the top six of five of the last six majors. Woods hasn’t finished in the top 10 of the British Open since 2006 and is winless in 2010 with just two top 10’s.

Stewart Cink won the 2009 British Open, his first major championship. Prior to that, Padraig Harrington won the title in 2008 and 2007. Westwood has three top 10’s in the British Open, including third in 2009.
