2010 PGA Championship Updated Odds To Win – Mickelson Favored
The final major of the 2010 golf season is upon us as the PGA Championship tees off Thursday from Whistling Straits.

The Favorite
Due to his recent struggles, Tiger Woods is not the favorite to win this tournament. Instead, his rival, Phil Mickelson, is a 9/1 favorite to win according to oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Woods (10/1), Rory McIlroy (16/1), and Padraig Harrington (20/1). Mickelson is a one-time winner of this event, as he took the 2005 title. Mickelson has a major championship this year already, as he won the Masters.
Past Winners
Woods is a four-time winner of this event, with his last title coming in 2007, but Tiger is coming off his worst 72-hole performance as a pro during the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. The defending champion of the tournament is Y.E. Yang, who beat Woods in a duel at Hazeltine last year. Yang has 125/1 odds to win this year. The last two win at this course was Vijay Singh, who took the title in 2004. Singsh has 100/1 odds to win this week.
World Golf Rankings
Woods has a slight lead over Mickelson in the rankings while Lee Westwood is in third. Westwood is unable to play this week due to a calf injury. Steve Stricker sits in fourth in the standings and has 25/1 odds to win the PGA Championship, while Jim Furyk is fifth in the world rankings and has 33/1 odds to win.
