2010 PGA Honda Classic Odds To Win – Four Favored To Win

The 2010 PGA Tour heads to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida this week for the 2010 Honda Classic from PGA National Resort-Champion Course.

This is a competitive field as a clear-cut favorite has not been established. Four golfers enter this event with the shortest odds to win.

According to the online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com, Rory McIlroy, Robert Allenby, Paul Casey, and Lee Westwood all have odds of 14/1 to win the tournament.

McIlroy took 13th in this event last year and is currently ranked ninth in the world. McIlroy has finished in the top seven in 10 of his last 13 events.

Allenby is ranked 14th in the world and has finished in the top five of this event the last three years. He has finished in the top 10 in five of his last seven events, which includes two wins outside of the United States.

Casey ranks sixth in the world and he missed the cut in last year’s tournament, his only appearance in this event. Casey has finished in the top 11 in five of his last six events, including a second place finish in the Accenture Match Play Championship.

Westwood ranks fourth in the world and he also missed the cut in last year’s event. In recent play, he has finished in the top 10 in 14 of his last 18 events, which includes two victories on the European Tour.
