2010 PGA HP Byron Nelson Championship Odds To Win – Westwood Favored
One of the prestigious PGA Tour events takes place this week as the 201 Byron Nelson Championship tees off Thursday from TPC Four Seasons-Las Colinas.

The field doesn’t feature the big names of Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson, but the event should still be very competitive, and Lee Westwood has emerged as the favorite.
Westwood has been given 10/1 odds win according to the online sports book Sports Interaction. Other short odds to win are Ernie Els (12/1), Rory McIlroy (12/1), and Paul Casey (16/1).
Westwood has moved up to third in the world rankings due to his string of strong play in 2010. Westwood has not competed in this event in recent years but he has six top 10 finishes in the year along with two wins late in 2009.
Els won this event in 1995 and he finished 13th in 2006. Els is seventh in the world rankings currently as he had two wins in 2010. Els has six top 10’s in 2010.
McIlroy hasn’t played in this event in recent years but the young up-and-comer is ninth in the world rankings already. Despite winning the Quail Hollow Championship a few weeks ago, McIlroy has missed the cut in three of his last four events.
Casey hasn’t played in this event in recent years, but the England native is eighth in the world rankings. Casey has five top 10’s in 2010, but missed two of his last three cuts.
