2010 PGA Transitions Championship Odds To Win – Stricker Favored

The PGA Tour heads to Palm Harbor, Florida this week for the 2010 Transitions Championship from Westin Innisbrook-Copperhead Course.

Bet The 2010 Transitions Championship

This event, which starts on Thursday, will feature a competitive field, highlighted by the No. 2 ranked player in the world, Steve Stricker.

Stricker has been given 14/1 odds win according to the online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Padraig Harrington (18/1), Ian Poulter (25/1), and Vijay Singh (25/1).
Stricker has finished in the top 15 of this event the last two years, placing fourth in 2009. Stricker has one win already this year and three top 10 finishes in five events. Stricker has finished in the top 10 in 12 of his last 21 events.

Harrington hasn’t recently competed in this event. He is currently 10th in the world rankings. Harrington is coming off a third place finish last weekend in the WGC-CA Championship. Harrington has finished in the top 10 in 10 of his last 17 events.

Ian Poulter is also making his first appearance in this event. Poulter is ranked sixth in the world. He has finished outside of the top 20 in his last two events after winning the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. Poulter has finished in the top 10 in six of the last 10 events.

Vijay Singh won this event in 2004. He is ranked 32nd in the world rankings right now. Singh has finished in the top 11 in his last two events. Aside from those two showings, Singh has finished outside the top 20 in 11 of his last 15 events.
