2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics Most Gold Medals Odds - Germany Favored

The 2010 Winter Olympics are set to begin on Friday, February 12, and odds are out for which country will win the most gold medals.

Germany is favored with odds of 1/1 to win the most gold medals according to online sports book Brobury Sports. Other short odds to win are Russia (4/1), Canada (4/1), and the United States (9/2).

Germany has taken home the most gold medals in three of the last five Winter Olympics, including the 2006 games in Turin, Italy. Germany has also won the most overall medals in the last three Winter Olympics.

Russia took home the most gold in the 1994 Winter Olympics from Lillehammer, Norway. In 2006, Russian finished with eight gold medals, fourth most of any country. Russia has taken home at least five gold medals in the last four Winter Olympics.

Canada finished fifth among Olympic Countries in gold medals won in 2006, as it took home seven. Canada has won seven gold medals in each of the last two Winter Olympics.

USA picked up nine gold medals in the 2006 games, which tied it for second with Austria. The United States has won at least five gold medals in the last five Winter Olympics.
