This event features many of the top players in the world, except for top-ranked player Tiger Woods.

Despite the lack of Woods, his biggest rival, Phil Mickelson, is playing and is favored to win the tournament.

Mickelson has been given 8/1 odds win according to the online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Steve Stricker (14/1), Paul Casey (16/1), and Camilo Villegas (18/1).
This event has taken place at this course over the last three years and Mickelson won the event in 2009. Mickelson also finished 20th in 2008 and 22nd in 2007. Mickelson has finished in the top 20 in five of his last seven events, but has not finished better than eighth in 2010.

Stricker finished 12th in this event in 2009 and sixth in 2008. Stricker has finished in the top 10 in his last five tour events aside from a 33rd place finish in the Match Play Championship. Stricker had finished in the top 10 in nine of his last 13 events.

Casey finished 30th in this event in 2009 and placed eighth in 2007. Casey has finished in the top 11 in his last four events and in six of his last seven. Casey has also finished in the top four in his last two events.

Villegas finished fifth in the 2009 event and 26th in 2008. Villegas is coming off a win in the Honda Classic and has finished in the top 10 in his last four events. He has also finished in the top 25 in his last 10 events overall.
