2012 UFC on Fuel TV 4 Betting Odds & Card for Munoz vs. Weidman
By Drew Sharper

SAN JOSE, CA (TheSpread) – Two middleweights look to establish themselves as a possible No. 1 contender on Wednesday night in the main event of UFC on Fuel TV 4.

UFC on Fuel TV 4 will take place from the HP Pavillion with the main card bouts airing live on Fuel TV at 8PM ET.

The main event of Wednesday’s card has Mark Munoz (12-2) facing Chris Weidman (8-0) in a contest that many feel may determine the next challenger to Anderson Silva. According to oddsmakers, Weidman is a slight favorite, as he has odds of -145 to win, while Munoz has a money line of +115 to win. Munoz has won four straight, two of which have been by KO. Despite being an All-American in wrestling, Munoz has developed some powerful striking. Weidman is 4-0 in his UFC career with two submission wins. A protégé of Matt Serra, Weidman is very skilled in submissions, but also has a great boxing background. The big key for Weidman is this will be the biggest fight of his career and first main event, while Munoz has been in this position before and fought tougher opponents.

In the co-main event, light heavyweights James Te Huna (14-5) and Joey Beltran (14-7) meet up. According to oddsmakers, Te Huna is the favorite, as he has odds of -345 to win, while Beltran has a money line of +275 to prevail. Te Huna is 3-1 in the UFC and a winner of his last two. Both of his last two victories were by KO in under 2:10. He has big power and likes to start aggressive. Beltran is just 3-4 in the UFC, but fought at heavyweight prior to this fight. He is somewhat of a fan favorite because he can take a great deal of punishment and keep pushing forward. He is a good grappler with good power, and he should be the bigger fighter of the two when they meet.
