2014 PGA BMW Championship Odds To Win: Rory McIlroy Favored

CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, CO (TheSpread) – The top 70 in the current FedEx Cup standings will compete in the BMW Championship this week. Here is a look at the odds for this event.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Rory McIlroy is favored to win this week, as he has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Adam Scott (10/1) and Jason Day (14/1).
McIlroy won this event in 2012. He is currently No. 1 in the world rankings and has finished in the top five in four of his last five events, including three wins.
Scott is second in the world rankings. He has placed 16th or better in his last eight events, including one win and five top 5s. He finished sixth in this event in 2012.
Day is sixth in the world rankings. He has placed in the top 7 of the first two FedEx Cup events. He has one win this year and finished fourth in this event last year.
