Ferrer leads the head to head 3-2, but Murray is 2-0 on hardcourts, including a big match at the World Tour championships last November. Ferrer caught a big break in the quarters when Rafael Nadal pulled a muscle. Murray has been consistently good throughout and he knows this is probably his best chance ever of winning his first ever gland slam tourney now that Federer and Nadal are both out of the way.
