The English Premier League will begin play on Saturday Aug. 16 with 10 games scheduled over a three-day period.

Manchester City captured the EPL championship last season, which was the second title in the last three years for the club.

Oddsmakers at Sportsbook.ag have installed City as a 2/1 betting choice (Bet $100 to win $200) to repeat in the 2014-15 season.

Even those odds are short on Manchester City, Sportsbook.ag has made Chelsea the favorite at 3/2 odds (Bet $100 to win $150).

Last year, manager Jose Mourinho led the Blues to a third place in his first season. Chelsea added some big names to its squad this summer, including Cesc Fabregas, Filipe Luis, Diego Costa and former Chelsea standout Didier Drogba.

Drogba won three EPL titles in his first eight-year stint at Chelsea.

Behind Chelsea and City in the betting odds is Manchester United (4/1), Arsenal (6/1) and Liverpool (9/1).

Below are the Week 1 odds and future odds for the EPL from Sportsbook.ag.
