Kentucky Derby 136 Odds: Devil May Care 20/1 to win in 2010
To be the best, you have to beat the best. Devil May Care has yet to beat the best, but it can this Saturday in the 2010 Kentucky Derby.
While Devil May Care has three wins since August of 2009, the horse hasn’t racked up a lot of impressive showings against the horses it will see in the Derby race on Saturday while also putting in very poor showings against horses that won’t be on display this Saturday.
Devil May Care has 20/1 odds to win the 2010 Kentucky Derby according to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Lookin at Lucky is the favorite to win at Churchill Downs this weekend at 7/2, while Sidney’s Candy has opening odds at 6/1.
Devil May Care is coming off a win on March 20 in the Bonnie Miss, a 1.125 mile race in which it ran a time of 1:49.06, but its closest competition won’t stack up to what it will see in the Kentucky Derby. Devil May Care also won the Frizette back in October and the MSW back in August.
While it has three wins, it also failed to even place in two races in recent time. It finished fifth at the Silverbulletday back on Feb. 20 while taking 11th at the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies race on Nov. 6. Both of those races lacked a Kentucky Derby horse in its top three.
