Kentucky Derby 136 Odds: Line Of David 28/1 to win in 2010
It may not be the most reliable horse in the field, but Line Of David may be the hottest horse running in Saturday’s 2010 Kentucky Derby.
Coming off a win in the Arkansas Derby on April 10 over top Derby contenders, Line of David is a horse to watch out for this weekend despite its long odds.
Line Of David has 28/1 odds to win the 2010 Kentucky Derby according to oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com. Lookin at Lucky is the favorite to win at Churchill Downs this weekend at 7/2, while Sidney’s Candy has opening odds at 6/1.
In the Arkansas Derby, Line of David bested Super Saver and Dublin, two Kentucky Derby horses that have 12/1 odds heading into Saturday’s race. The 1.125-mile race saw Line of David come in with a time of 1:49.37. Prior to the Arkansas Derby, Line of David also won a pair of 1-mile races in March and February.
Prior to the trio of wins, Line of David had showed in just one of his last three, a MSW on Dec. 30. The fields it competed against were not very strong and yet it still finished seventh in one race and ninth in another.
