Liverpool vs. Tottenham Betting Lines and Pick

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur meet on Tuesday (3 p.m. ET, NBC Sports Network).after both sides had to deal with local derbies this past weekend. Whereas the Reds were held to a goalless draw at Goodison Park against Everton, Spurs came from a goal down to beat rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane, with the superb Harry Kane netting two goals.

Mauricio Pochettino brings his side into this game with confidence sky high after two wins in a row against West Brom and then the Gunners. Spurs currently sit fifth in the league, knowing a win could take them to third in the league on Tuesday night if other results go their way. William Hill U.S. prices them at +325 to secure a third consecutive victory.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have pushed themselves up the table after a solid recent run of results, which has seen them stay unbeaten in their last eight league games.

Before their draw against Everton, the Reds had won their three previous matches, beating West Ham, Aston Villa and Sunderland. With four victories against Spurs in their last four meetings, the Reds will hope to continue the recent trend in Tuesday's clash. They are listed at -120 odds at William Hill U.S., with the draw offered at +270.

The total is 2.5 goals, with the OVER priced as the -135 favorite.

Despite dominating in recent head-to-head meetings between the sides, the Reds seem too short at odds-on for this clash, especially when you consider Spurs’ dominant performance over the weekend, which will have buoyed them.

While an unbeaten spell of eight games is an improvement for Liverpool, the Reds have struggled to turn draws into wins at Anfield in recent weeks, drawing six of their last eight matches.

With Kane firing on all cylinders, assisted by the influential Christian Eriksen, Spurs haven’t struggled for goals and will come into this match looking to take maximum points.

Spurs/Draw in the double chance market at 10-to-11 odds seems to offer value, with this bet paying out against Liverpool in four of their last six games, and with the visitors on a run of one defeat in their last 10 Premier League matches, it looks worth chancing the underdogs to claim at least a point.

While the “double chance” bet is not typically offered in Las Vegas, Tottenham plus a half-goal is essentially the same wager and can be had at a more attractive price of even-money at William Hill U.S.

Goal.com best bet: Tottenham plus a half-goal at even-money.
