BRAZIL (The Spread) – Nigeria and Bosnia-Herzegovina each could use a win today in the World Cup. Will the two put on an aggressive match at 6PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Bosnia is the favorite in this game, as it has odds of -120 to win, while Nigeria has been given a money line of +320 to win. The odds of a draw have been set at +275, while the over/under for the match has been placed at 2.5 goals.
Bosnia-Herzegovina is coming off a 2-1 loss to Argentina in its first match. It was its first-ever World Cup game. Nigeria played Iran to a scoreless draw in its World Cup opener. Nigeria is now 4-8-3 in World Cup play, having scored 17 goals over the 15 games while allowing 21.

Nigeria thoroughly controlled its match with Iran, but couldn’t find the net, which isn’t typical for it. Nigeria averages over one goal a game in World Cup play. Bosnia scored an own goal against Argentina, or it may have found a way to earn a 1-1 draw. Bosnia doesn’t have a lot of World Cup experience, but it comes in with plenty of momentum and a good showing against Argentina only helps that. With both teams being desperate for a win today, I expect some chances to be taken, which should lead to some scoring. This is the only match with today with an over/under of 2.5 goals and I would suggest jumping on the over.
