FC 103 Odds To Win: MMA Betting Matchups & Fight Card

UFC 103: Franklin vs. Belfort takes place Saturday, Sept. 19 from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Tx. at 10PM ET.

The main card of Saturday’s pay-per-view event features five fights, but the entire card has 13 fights scheduled. Here is a look at some of the marquee fights for the night.

Bet UFC 103

Ex-Champions Collide

Two of the most famous fighters in the annals of the UFC will meet on Saturday night in the main event when former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin takes on former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort. Belfort is making his return to the UFC after more than a four-year absence. Belfort has won his last four fights, including a devastating knockout win over Matt Lindland last January in his last bout. Franklin is coming off a decision win over Wanderlei Silva in June and is in the process of making the move from middleweight to light heavyweight. This fight will be contested at a catch weight of 195 pounds. Franklin is favored to win with a betting line of -155 while Belfort comes in with a line of +125. Both fighters are considered boxers and the key to this fight may be which fighter can control the boxing or take the fight to the ground. This fight could end with one punch from either fighter.

Streaking Heavyweights Look For Another Win

The co-headline fight for UFC 103 is a heavyweight bout between Mirko Cro Cop and Junior Dos Santos. Santos exploded on the UFC scene with a quick knockout win over Fabricio Werdum at UFC 90 last October. Dos Santos has now won two-straight in the UFC and a win on Saturday may make him the No. 1 contender to Brock Lesnar’s championship. Cro Cop struggled in his first stint with the UFC, losing two-of-three, but Cro Cop is currently on a three-fight winning streak, including a TKO win over Mustapha al Turk at UFC 99. Dos Santos may have a better overall fighting game, which is why he is favored with a betting line of -135, but Cro Cop is a dangerous striker and can end the fight quickly with a head kick, which is why he is a slim underdog with a betting line of +105.
