Strengths: Lauzon is a good, well-rounded fighter that has powerful punches but is also very comfortable on the ground. He has a very stern demeanor and never shows much, if any emotion in his fights. Lauzon has spent a lot of his career training with B.J. Penn and has been constantly improving his game.
Weaknesses: Lauzon doesn’t have a lot of weaknesses, he just isn’t elite at any one area. His boxing is good, but not great. His wrestling is good, but not great, and the same can be said for his submission skills. In this fight, he will likely not be as crisp of a striker as Stout, but still may have equal power in his hands.

Strengths: Stout is a great boxer with some good kicks. Stout’s nickname of “Hands of Stone” tells the story as he is primarily a striker and uses his quick hands to out-strike his opponents. Despite being primarily a boxer, Stout hasn’t been able to finish a lot of opponents from his striking.
Weaknesses: The blueprint to beating Stout has been pretty simple, take him to the ground and submit him. Stout has struggled to defend from the bottom in his career and has relied on his boxing to earn him decision wins. While he has done well, in a fight with Lauzon, Stout is going to have to be able to defend the takedown or fight off his back at one point in the fight.
