By Drew Sharper

UFC 120: Bisping vs. Akiyama takes place Saturday, October 16 from the O2 Arena in London, England and features one of England’s own in the main event.

Saturday’s main card, which will air on Spike TV on tape delay at 10PM ET and oddsmakers have released odds for three bouts for Saturday’s card. Here is a closer look at the featured bouts.

Bet UFC 120

Bisping vs. Akiyama

The main event of Saturday’s card is a middleweight contest between Michael Bisping (20-3) and Yoshihiro Akiyama (13-2). Bisping enters the fight as the favorite according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BroburySports.com. Bisping has a betting line of -225 while Akiyama has a line of +175. Bisping has won two of his last four fights, with his last victory coming at UFC 114 against Dan Miller by unanimous decision. Akiyama is 1-1 in the UFC and is coming off a submission loss to Chris Leben at UFC 116. Bisping is a striker that likes to move around while Akiyama is a complex striker with good wrestling and judo ability. If the fight stays on the feet, it will favor Bisping. If it hits the ground, it favors Akiyama. Bisping is a native of England and will be fighting in front of a very supportive crowd.

Welterweight showdown

The co-main event of Saturday’s card is a welterweight bout between Dan Hardy (23-7) and Carlos Condit (25-5). Hardy is the favorite for the fight with a line of -165 while Condit has a line of +135. Hardy is also an England native and will have a strong crowd backing. Hardy has not fought since losing to Georges St. Pierre for the UFC title back at UFC 111. It was his first loss in the octagon as he won his first four fights in the UFC. Condit has won his last two fights in the UFC after losing his debut to Martin Kampmann. Condit was the WEC welterweight champion when the weight class was absorbed by the UFC. Condit is an all-around fighter that will look to clinch and grapple while Hardy wants to use his boxing ability to score a knockout.
