UFC 122: Marquardt vs. Okami takes place Saturday, November 13 from the Konig Pilsener Arena in Germany and features a No. 1 contender’s match in the middleweight division.
Saturday’s main card, which will air live on tape delay on SPIKE at 9PM ET has five featured bouts and oddsmakers have released the betting lines for the fights. Here is a look at the main event and other odds for the event.
No. 1 contender’s bout
The main event of Saturday’s card is a battle between middleweights Nate Marquardt and Yushin Okami. The winner of this contest will receive a title shot down the line. Marquardt (33-9-2) enters the fight as the favorite according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BroburySports.com with a betting line of -250 while Okami (26-5) comes in at +190. Both men have lost recent bouts to Chael Sonnen, who recently lost his title attempt to Anderson Silva. Marquardt seems to have more well-rounded skills in this fight as he has strong grappling and striking while Okami is more of a wrestler that likes to use his size and strength to tire opponents and win decisions.
