UFC 124 Odds To Win: MMA Betting Matchups & Fight Card
By Drew Sharper

The UFC returns to pay-per-view this Saturday when it puts on UFC 124: St. Pierre vs. Koscheck 2 at the Bell Center in Montreal.

The card is highlighted by a rematch for the UFC Welterweight Championship as champion Georges St. Pierre defends his title against Josh Koscheck. St. Pierre already holds a win over the challenger back in 2007. Odds have been released for five fights on the card. Here is a look at those odds and a breakdown of the main event.

Odds are coming from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com and the event will air live on pay-per-view at 10PM ET on Saturday, Dec. 11.

GSP vs. Koscheck II

In Saturday’s main event, St. Pierre brings his 7-fight win streak in against Koscheck, who has won three-straight bouts. St. Pierre is defending his championship for the fifth time, which would tie the UFC record if he is to win. Oddsmakers have St. Pierre as an overwhelming favorite with a betting line of -450 while Koscheck has odds of +325. In their first meeting St. Pierre was able to win a unanimous three-round decision due to superior wrestling, but Koscheck was able to have some success in the fight. Both men are different fighters now and Koscheck will have the edge in power while St. Pierre has better technique and overall skills. Koscheck has the ability to get takedowns, though St. Pierre defends those well and Koscheck’s has one-punch knockout power, though St. Pierre is hard to hit. St. Pierre will look to mix up strikes and takedowns to throw Koscheck off. The odds are strongly behind St. Pierre for a reason, but Koscheck has a puncher’s chance.
