UFC 125 Odds To Win: MMA betting Matchups & Fight Card
By Drew Sharper
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – Gray Maynard looks to remain undefeated and become a champion when he takes on Frankie Edgar in the main event of UFC 125 on Saturday.
Those two will meet for the UFC Lightweight Championship on Saturday from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Maynard (10-0) already holds a decision win over Edgar back in 2008, but now, Edgar (13-1) is the lightweight champion after back-to-back wins over B.J. Penn. Maynard comes into the fight as a slight favorite according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com as Maynard has betting odds of -145 while the champion Edgar has betting odds of +115.
Maynard will look to come in and use his size and strength to out-wrestle Edgar while the champion will look to use his speed and quickness to out-strike Maynard and mix in some takedown attempts to keep the challenge off guard. The title fight is one of 11 fights on the card with odds listed for Saturday. For complete betting odds for UFC 125, see below.
