Holly Holm meets Bethe Correia in Singapore at UFC Fight Night 111.
Holly Holm has not won a UFC fight since defeating Ronda Rousey in 2015, having lost each of her last three outings. The former Women’s Bantamweight Champion will be looking to return to her winning ways against Bethe Correia, a former title challenger who, unlike Holm, lost resoundingly against Rousey. Correia has also struggled since her bout against Rousey, having accumulated one win, one loss, and one draw since that fight.
Holm lands 3.08 significant strikes per minute and has an accuracy of 34.53 percent. She absorbs 2.65 significant strikes per minute, and has a defense rate of 59.61 percent. The 35-year-old New Mexico native averages relatively low 0.27 takedown attempts per minute, and she has a takedown accuracy of 18.18 percent. Holm successfully defends takedowns at a 78.26 percent rate, and has yet to record a submission attempt in her MMA career.
Correia connects on 4.74 significant strikes per minute at a rate of 46.71 percent. She absorbs 4.08 such strikes per minute, and defends them at a 59.83 percent clip. The 33-year-old Brazilian averages 0.55 takedown attempts per 15 minutes and has a takedown accuracy of 25.00 percent. She defends takedowns at a rate of 85.71 percent, and, like her opponent, has yet to record a submission attempt in her MMA career.
