Rodriguez a Large Favorite vs Caceres in UFC Fight Night 92 Bout
BY Bovada.lv

UFC Fight Night 92 will take place at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City on Saturday night and feature some of the best young MMA fighters who previously participated in The Ultimate Fighter reality television series.

TUF: Latin America featherweight winner Yair Rodriguez will headline the main event as a large -300 favorite over TUF 12 alum Alex Caceres, who is listed as a +230 underdog.

Rodriguez (7-1) is unbeaten in four UFC bouts overall, including three straight since winning the TUF title. He has earned two post-fight bonuses during that stretch, including Performance of the Night for his second-round knockout of Andre Fili via flying head kick at UFC 197 on April 23 in Las Vegas.

Caceres (12-8, 1 No-Contest) was known as "Bruce Leeroy" on TUF and has much more experience in the organization with a mark of 7-6 and one NC. He has bounced between featherweight and bantamweight, winning his last two at 145 pounds versus Masio Fullen and Cole Miller.

In addition, the co-main event will include former TUF 14 finalist Dennis Bermudez (15-5) against TUF: Brazil featherweight winner Rony Jason (14-5, 1 NC). Bermudez is listed as a -240 favorite and has won eight of his 10 fights in the UFC since losing to Diego Brandao by first-round armbar submission for the TUF 14 featherweight tournament title.

Meanwhile, Jason is a +190 underdog and has gone 3-2 with one NC after beating Godofredo Pepe via unanimous decision at UFC 147 to win TUF.

Headlining the preliminary card is Utah resident Court McGee (17-5), who won TUF 11 as a middleweight before dropping down to welterweight. The Ogden native is a -210 favorite and will take on Dominique Steele (14-7), the former CES MMA welterweight champ who lost his UFC debut against TUF 17 competitor Zak Cummings at UFC on FOX 16 a year ago.

Steele is a +170 underdog and has lost two of his first three in the organization, although his past two performances have earned post-fight bonuses.

Cummings (19-4) will also fight on the card against TUF: Brazil cast member Santiago Ponzinibbio (22-3), who broke his hand in the semifinals of that tourney and had to withdraw. Ponzinibbio is a -155 favorite and has gone 4-2 in the UFC, including a first-round TKO of McGee at UFC on FOX 19 in April.

Cummings (+125) has won four of his first five in the UFC, including a first-round TKO of Steele just 43 seconds into the bout.
