JBWere Masters Picks
Tiger Woods is the clear front runner in a weak field at the 2010 JBWere Masters and we like him to win this weekend.
In a field with few top-ranked golfers, Woods is clearly the class of the field, despite his struggles this year. Here is a breakdown of his odds and a few other plays to consider for the tournament.
Tiger Woods 2/1
Woods has finished in the top 15 in his last four tournaments, including a good sixth-place showing in a competitive tournament last weekend. Woods is also the defending champion of this tournament and with few chances left to win in 2010, we like him as a play.
Geoff Ogilvy 8/1
Ogilvy is one of the top golfers in this field as he is a native of Australia. Ogilvy is 38th ranked in the world right now and he is coming off three solid showings, including a runner-up in the Deutsche Bank Championship. Playing at home in a weak field, I like Ogilvy to contend for the title.
Camilo Villegas 16/1
Villegas ranks 30th in the world right now and he is also on a nice streak, making the cut in his last 13 events. Villegas has won one event this year and placed in the top 10 in seven others. At 16/1 Villgeas could provide a big payout for this tournament.
The 2010 JBWere Masters begins Thursday, Nov. 11 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 14 from The Victoria Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia.
