McGladrey Classic Predictions
The 2010 McGladrey Classic tees off on Thursday morning and we have three strong plays for the weekend to earn you some cash.
The field for this event is not one of the best the tour has seen, but still features some of the top golfers in the world fresh off of play in the 2010 Ryder Cup.
Matt Kuchar 12/1
Kuchar is the favorite to win and is the top-ranked golfer in the field. Kuchar was close to winning the 2010 FedEx Cup, but came up just shy to Jim Furyk. Kuchar has made his last 13 cuts and finish in the top 10 seven times in those 13 events. Kuchar has been very consistent and should be in the hunt to win on Sunday.
Lucas Glover 33/1
Glover is 38th in the world rankings. He has had a disappointing 2010 season after winning the 2009 U.S. Open. Glover has three top 10’s on the year without a win, but in a thin playing field, we think Glover has a chance to break out this week. His upside is strong given his odds, as he will be a big payout if he can put together a winning combination this weekend.
Charlie Wi 35/1
Wi has had a very strong finish to his 2010 season as he has made his last four cuts and finished in the top 20 in five of his last nine events. Wi played in the final three events of the FedEx Cup playoffs, so he has performed well against competitive fields and is among the strongest players in this tournament. His odds are longer than one would expect given his recent play which can lead to a big payout for you.
