Rose wins BMW Championship
LEMONT, IL (TheSpread) – Justin Rose didn’t need much to win the 2011 BMW Championship on Sunday, but he did just enough to win.
Rose carded an even-par 71 on Sunday to finish the tournament at 13-under par. That was enough to win the tournament by two shots over John Senden.
According to oddsmakers, Rose had 60/1 odds to win the BMW Championship, which means a $100 wager on Rose to win will pay out an additional $6,000.
The win pushed Rose to third in the FedEx Cup Standings, but he still trails leader Webb Simpson by 1,513 points with one event remaining in the playoffs.
