McIlroy vs. Westwood B. Open Odds
SANDWICH, England (TheSpread) – The spotlight will be on two of Europe’s finest golfers at the 2011 British Open as Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood are the two favorites to win the tournament.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog, McIlroy is favored to finish ahead of Westwood in the British Open. McIlroy has odds of -130 to win this matchup while Westwood has a money line of +100.
McIlroy won his first major, the 2011 U.S. Open, last month and he has finished in the top 15 of his last four majors. At the British Open, McIlroy has made the cut every time he has competed, and he finished third in last year’s Open Championship.
Westwood has never won a major championship in his career, but he has come close many times. He has finished in the top 11 in six of his last seven majors. Westwood has been pretty strong at the British Open, placing in the top three the last two years.
The 2011 British Open will be played at Royal St. George in Sandwich, England and runs from Thursday, July 14 to Sunday, July 17.
